Self Care for the Win

If you do not practice self care then you need to start.  Our personal emotional and mental health is crucial and important.  There are plenty of us that care for others, go above and beyond to make everyone around us happy, but neglect our own needs.  This needs to change!  Please, even if each of us sets aside 10 minutes a day for ourselves to breathe and unwind in silence, make the time.  We all deserve a moment of clarity and a chance to decompress.  It is good for the soul and mind.  There are plenty of priorities that need our attention throughout the day.  So, it is understandable that feelings of guilt or selfishness may come from spending time alone and away from the hustle, but without your emotional and mental well being, you will not be able to take care or be there for the people you deem important.  Next time pencil yourself in before others.  Take care of you HC!
